This lovely finca with more than 18,000 sqm of cultivated land is located just 2km from the pretty, traditional, Spanish village of Barony de Polop, with its ancient narrow cobbled streets, pretty churches and several lovely restaurants.
The main house, built in 1977 sits at the head of the land looking out over the lush green countryside and is surrounded by stunning mountain views. Consisting of 4 large ensuite bedrooms, 2 at ground level off the entrance hall, one completely separate with kitchenette below, and on the first floor a large suite with living area, terraces and a roof terrace with truly amazing views. Within the centrally heated house are several log fires and a log burner.
You’ll find the large fitted and well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor which leads to a split level dining and living area with wrap around terrace and a covered eating area. From here you access the outside kitchen with wood fired oven and barbecue.
Down from the main house is a separate guest cottage with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, living area with air-conditioning and a terrace, perfect for guests or for a gardener to help maintain the grounds and crops, all farmed with organic principles. There is a water deposit on site with a sophisticated irrigation system designed to water different zones at different times.
In the beautiful well kept grounds you’ll find many varieties of fruit trees producing around 2000 kgs of oranges, 700-800 kgs of nísperos, 300-500 kgs of almonds and a vineyard producing around 500 litres of wine per year. Grapes include; Tempranillo, Syrah, Garnacha and Muscadel.
In addition you’ll find around 30 olive trees, 8 lemon trees, 5 banana trees, peach, pear, plum, cherry, avocado, mango, fig, apricot, mulberry, dates, kiwi, cherimoya, kumquat, pistachio, walnut and more…
There is also a vegetable patch with tomato, potato, onion and leaves.
Next to the main house is a swimming pool with a large split level terrace and seating area. Below this you’ll find the bodega with open fire, a large farmhouse table and traditional wall paintings. A perfect place to celebrate the harvest.
